C11. Caistor Rocking Chair A very unusual rocking chair made in Caistor, Licolnshire by chair maker John Shadford, from about 1850 to 1890. The original, which is in the High Wycombe Chair Museum was stained with red lead and is almost dark pink in colour. This one is made from laburnum and yew stained a mahogany colour. £150.00 |
